- Every player, coach and manager on the official tournament roster will receive a custom Chinook Cup Tournament pin.

- We have arranged several offers with local entertainment and restaurant companies for your team to use while you are attending the tournament. The program offers a discount card you purchase, with various discount and free items then available to your team. The key here is that all of the offers on the card can be used in ONE VISIT BY YOUR TEAM OR FAMILY. Click here for more info.

- You will be able to access tournament scores and standings on your laptop computer or web enabled PDA in the Tigard High School tournament headquarters area. Of course, you will need to have a wireless capability in your laptop to make this work. Last year, scores and standings were typically updated within 30 minutes of the conclusion of each set of games. Finish your game, drive to Tigard High School, and access current standings and scores for your bracket. How cool is that!!!!!


Not so new, but Still Cool...


- Once again this year, we will offer up to four championships for each age group/gender. For example, 16 teams enter U14 Girls Gold, and 12 teams enter U14 Girls Silver, we will award both Diamond and Sapphire Championships within the Gold group, and Ruby and Emerald Championships within the Silver Group. Complete details can be found on the “details” link on the tournament home page.

- We will also wait to write the finals schedule for Sunday until after the quarterfinals are completed on Saturday morning. Teams that travel the furthest will be scheduled for the early games on Sunday, allowing them to arrive home at a decent time.

- Regardless of record in the preliminary round, EVERY TEAM that enters either tournament will play in a medal round game after the preliminary round games are completed.
